I dont know why the Xbox doesn't have this feature. It might only work if the game has at least two different save games, otherwise "Select and Upload" might not be available.Īnd as a sidenote on the topic of game saves, i think its good that PS4 has the option to do local save backup as well. Then it says in the down right corner how much free space thats left. Everything is working fine now at least.Ībout space, how long will 100GB last? I've been playing hundreds of games since the PS3 days, and according to my PS4, i have 103.8GB left in the cloud storage lol :P I think the 1000 file limit is a more concern in comparision, but i think that should easily be fixed if more people run into that limit (so far, i've only heard of one person thats reached that limit).īy the way, how much space do you guys have left? You can check this by pressing option on a game, choose "Upload/Download Saved Data", and click on "Select and Upload". Is it known why you can auto-upload on a non primary console? Is it in case two people play the same game on the same account, that it shouldnt mess with overwriting two different save games? How does the Xbox handle such a situation? And why is the auto-upload feature on PS4 unreliable? I think maybe i had some "Couldn't upload to save storage" message on my PS4 some years ago, but i dont think i ever checked into it. I dont want the cloud saves to be auto downloaded to my system however, i want to have the control to do that myself in case i mess up in a game or can save hours upon hours of extra gameplay related to a trophy by manually downloading an older savegame, but i wouldnt mind if it was an option to have auto download of the save games of course. Its not like it takes much work to manually upload a savegame from a non-primary system for example, but i do agree that there could be some improvement done. Apart form that, everything just seems.Calling the situation described in the OP as terrible seems like a bit hyperbole to me. Does it ever become more challenging than "check their weakness, switch to strong seraphim, go SSJ and whack it till its dead while dodging the hard abilities"? The bird was at least kind of challenging because you didn't have any strong element for him, had to rely on an anti-bird attack to trigger the damage bonus for chain attacks and his mantra that basically killed you in one cast had literally no cast-time. Every 3 or 4 hours I sit down for a couple of minutes to see if any of the randomly fused and dropped items can somehow retain this groupskill, but it's mostly just a "it covers the same base skill in the same itemslot, equip" tedium by now.Īlso: Playing on hard and except for the rare-mobs that have this dark aura around them (the purple wolf in the fields in front of ladylake, or the bird in front of marlind) none of the fights are even close to being difficult. My first goal was to get everyone the +20 stat groupskill which seems really powerful to me, but now I am rarely changing equipment at all. I honenstly don't see myself changing items very much. However, D:OS EE and TitS 2 are calling, so I'll probably just move on to those. I feel like I know the combat and other systems well enough for that already, and I've found that my reflexes suck less than I thought they would. If I had more free time, I'd replay this on Intense/Chaos. The one thing I dislike though, is that you have to fight the same enemy too many times to get multiple instances of the more powerful loot good for grindfags I guess, but not for me. More RPGs, J- or not, should have this sort of system. It's a solid combination of hand-placed loot and loot drops from enemies. I wish the companions were simply better at dodging instead.Īlso, I like the loot system in this game. I've even managed to get several achievements for that which, according to Steam's statistics, only about 1-2% of players have gotten.Īt the same time, I still think the companion AI sucks and the way you have to wait for the seraphim to revive so that Rose can be revived, too, is pretty lame (when not using items). The proper challenge on Hard in this game comes from winning boss fights when underleveled and without using items. It's simplistic and complex at the same time, and you become very powerful once you've mastered all the combos, artes, blasts, etc. The combat system has sort of grown on me by this point. I might do some side quests before I beat the game. The fact that I don't fight the same enemy enough times to get multiple powerful drops means I don't get (m)any duplicates of the more powerful equipment, which makes fusion occasional at best.Īnyway, I'm almost done with the main plot. I've only been using the fusion system sporadically lately.
